A Word From Bro. Chris
JULY, 2007

Greetings! I pray that you all are doing well. It is a real joy to be in ministry with all of you. The Lord is continuing to bless Mansfield FBC. Many exciting things are coming up in the Youth Group as summer gets kicked off. Below is a list of some of them in the month of July.

Sunday, July 1 - Church Picnic (No Discipleship Hour)
Monday, July 2 - Youth Led Bible Study at Belt's
Tuesday, July 3 - Pink Bud Visit (Hand Out Flags) (Time TBA)
Wednesday, July 4 - No Youth Group Activities
Monday, July 9 - Youth Led Bible Study at Reeve's
Monday, July 16 - Youth Led Bible Study at the Zluticky's
Sunday, July 22 - Parent/Camper Meeting, 7:00 PM in the Sanctuary
Week of July 23-27 - Youth Camp
Monday, July 30 - Youth Led Bible Study at Erin James

A Canoe trip is being planned for the week of July 16.
It will either be the 16th-17th, or 19th-20th. Watch for details.
Cost should be around $25 for canoeing, overnight stay, and food.

Some Regular Scheduled activities have changed with the summer hours.
Worship Practice is Tuesday from 3:00-4:00 PM in the youth room. If you are interested in being a part of the youth worship team, let Bro. Chris know.
Drama Practice is Tuesday, 4:00-5:00 PM, in the youth room. Drama Team is looking for anyone who has a desire to minister and teach through the use of skits and plays. If you have skit ideas, ministry opportunities, or just want to be a part of the drama team, let Bro. Chris know.
I pray that you are fleeing from "youthful list" and temptations and that you are pursuing "righteousness" in your life as you have been separated to JESUS to become Holy and HE is HOLY. Devote yourself to obedience to HIS will for your life.

Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God -- this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is -- his good, pleasing, and perfect will.
Romans 12:2

Much Love,
Bro. Chris

for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity.
