WHAT WE BELIEVE
|
We believe in the one true God, who is Creator and Ruler of both Heaven and Earth.
Ephesians 4:6 "One God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all."
Isaiah 37:16 "O LORD Almighty, God of Israel, enthroned between the cherubim, you alone are God over all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth."
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, inerrant and infallible Word of God and it is our rule of faith and practice.
II Timothy 3:16 "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
Psalms 18:30 "As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him."
We believe in the Trinity to be composed of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, separate but equal in divine perfection.
Matthew 28:19 "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."
I Corinthians 12:4-6 "There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men."
We believe in the fall of man as a condemned sinner in need of God’s salvation.
Romans 5:12 "Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned."
Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
We believe salvation is a free gift of God’s grace, which comes through faith in Jesus Christ, apart from any work of our own.
John 3:16-17 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him."
Acts 4:12 "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."
We believe the church to be the visible body of the Lord Jesus Christ, which exists to fulfill the Great Commission by making disciples, worshipping together, fellowshipping with one another, through evangelism and missions.
Matthew 28:19-20 "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
